Water Disruption In Kota Baharu
KOTA BAHARU, Feb 23(Bernama) -- Water supply in Kota Baharu and the surrounding areas will be disrupted from 11pm this Saturday to 6am the following day.
Air Kelantan Sdn Bhd (AKSB) customer affairs executive, Hazwan Hassan, said this was due to electrical maintenance work to be carried out near the Kampung Puteh treatment plant which would affect the plant's operations.
He said the water supply disruption would affect residents in Kota Baharu town, covering Jalan Tok Hakim, Jalan Sultan Ibrahim, Jalan Telipot, Jalan Kebun Sultan, Jalan Merbau, Jalan Kelocor, Wakaf Mek Zainab, Taman Tengku Ahmad Panglima and Jalan Pantai Cahaya Bulan.
He advised the residents to store enough water for their use during the period.
The water supply will be restored in stages within three days after completion of the maintenance work, he said in a statement here today.
